D.O.P on a new short film based on a boy's 'Blinded' experience in life as he comes to terms with family history and the dark undertones that manifest themselves into the shocking truth that is revealed in the disturbing conclusion. Filmed using the Sony Z1 in HDV mode there where 4 locations (3 exterior and 1 interior) we utilised a 3.5 metre jib to give dramatic openings to sequences and had a stunt man for a grusome death scene on a canal and nearly got thrown out of Greenwich Park for filming lewd acts. D.O.P on "Empire of Modern Passivity" - a short Arthouse/fantasy epic filmed entirely on location in Epping Forest over two days with a 15 man crew and two main leads. The film has been highly stylized and makes the most of the very beautiful scenery available to us. Shot on a Panasonic HVX200 (720p) with the Movietube ST and various prime Nikon lenses using the available natural light with dolly, tracking and jib set-ups.
